Governance Goal

Charting our sustainability progress through governance and policy.

As part our legacy as COP26 Proud Host Venue, we are implementing the ISO 20121 management system, the International Standard for Sustainable events adopted by COP26, and we are maintaining a legal compliance register.

Under this goal, we will:

  • Review our environmental and sustainability legal compliance by conducting internal compliance audits and improving compliance and best practice measures onsite.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures for high-risk areas of our site in line with ISO20121 requirements. Examples of this would include a Waste Management Procedure and an Environmental Incident Response Procedure.
  • Develop a Sustainable Procurement Policy.
