Coming to Glasgow for the first time, Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience entranced 50,000 art lovers with more than 300 of the post-Impressionist icon’s paintings blended with cutting-edge technology and a specially curated musical soundtrack to tell the story of one of history’s most influential artists, with people able to wander through works - including The Starry Night, Sunflowers and Terrace of a Café at Night - as they came alive around them.

Becoming the longest running event at the SEC at 47 days, the event required intense collaboration between producers Annerin and the SEC to ensure this record-breaking run was delivered flawlessly, demonstrating the venue’s ability to successfully support events all shapes and sizes.

“There's a lot of moving parts that come into of how you build something like Beyond Van Gogh so that takes a lot of teamwork from the SEC to be able to make that happen. The SEC is very well equipped to be able to get you into who the movers and shakers of the city and community are.”

“From day one we've always had a great relationship with the venue and that's been crucial to the campaign. I think everybody has been so supportive with this project and everybody's been quite excited about it, so there hasn’t really been many challenges”
