Director of People

The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader for the role of Director of People. This individual will be passionate about all facets of human resources operations, possess a strategic vision, and demonstrate an exceptional ability to drive results for both employees and the brand. Effective communication and the ability to inspire others are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Talent Management: Lead the implementation of a strategic talent management program, enhance our employer brand, and spearhead employee engagement initiatives.
- Leadership Development: Develop and execute a leadership development program.
- Compensation and Benefits: Deliver a robust compensation and benefits program to ensure our brand is recognised as a best-in-class employer.
- People Strategy: Collaborate with the board, CEO, and Senior Leadership Team to develop and execute the People Strategy.
- Team Development: Lead and develop a team of People Advisors to provide exceptional service to our employees.
The Candidate
We are looking for a hands-on, proactive leader who thrives in an agile commercial environment focused on driving change within a growth business.
- Demonstratable experience working as a Director of People developing and implementing a People strategy.
- Experience of advising Senior Managers and reporting to the Board. REMCO experience would be advantageous.
- MCIPD Qualified and/or degree or equivalent level qualification in Human Resources.
- Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and HR processes.
